In the early 70s, DJs like the late and great Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles didn't have record stores filled with different genres of house music. Instead, they were renown for blending bits of rock, soul, and rhythm & blues alongside disco fare to create soundscapes to which many danced late into the night.
Decades returns with a celebration of this special time in music that set the stage for clubbing culture as we know it today. Join us as we pay homage to the sounds that lit up nightlife before there was house music. Take a step back in time and dance the night away with us at 1306 Miami.
